This is a fiction-telling game about exploring a fantasy world and going on adventures.

We are going to approach a fantasy world with a little bit of emphasis on the bonds we form with our party when we travel around and face peril together.

This is a game about going on wild, magic adventures with your found family.

Game Outline

To play fantasypunk you will need about four or five players, one of them being the Guide and Mediator.

You will also need a bunch of 6-sided dice (one at least) and some form of note-taking. You could also need hex grid, or other form of map making. You can play this game with digital tools or resources instead of physical ones.

Finally, you will need the Dungeons & Direct Actions supplement, by Sabe Jones.

fantasypunk is based on the Powered by the Apocalypse engine, by Vincent and Meguey Baker, and the Forged in the Dark engine, by John Harper.

You take action by making moves and determine the effectiveness of your actions by rolling dice.

Most times when you do a thing, the GM will do a thing in response. The game is cooperative and there’s no winning condition. You play to find out what happens and hopefully continue the story every time you meet.
